Looking at electoral maps reminds me that practically every Staten Island neighborhood name sounds like it was made up for Grand Theft Auto.

Seriously though, every point you’re making right now was better expressed by Black Sabbath in 1970. IMO there are so few classic rock songs with good lyrics, gotta appreciate the ones that just nail it.

In an MFA class we had to do an exercise describing the passage of time from the perspective of a place. I apologize for how MFAish this is, I didn’t intend to share it publicly, I had no idea that years later the D-backs would be up 2-1 on the Mets in the 5th inning of a Tuesday night game in May.
