The dirt slinger is being repurposed to a joke item, but with the added flair of having a hidden quest associated with it, at each stage it will be replaced in the inventory with something else, here is an example of it being transformed into a different dirt item

I made the shadow projectile have a darker shadow thing and then played with trig I could have done on a napkin in the first year of my degree for hours to make these particles get pulled in

A huge bonus is that everything I'm doing wants to fit the original aesthetic of the game, and as such is massively referenced from art assets made by real professionals, in this case Light's Bane
