I really feel this, one of my plans for the new year is to keep a cooking diary.
I have a very improvisational approach to cooking and I like to think I've gotten quite good at it. What I cannot do is cook the same thing twice. And I think I can fix that by making notes.

unrelated: if you have a corsair scimitar that scrolls backwards sometimes it's because the rotary encoder is badly manufactured, you cannot fix it easily

unrelated: if you have a huion keydial that scrolls backwards sometimes it's because the rotary encoder is badly manufactured, you can fix it by taking it apart and bending the contact pins up on the dial itself
don't attempt this if you aren't 100% sure you can reassemble it (harder than it seems)
