Father to one remarkably cute daughter.
An absolutely appalling and abhorrent speech from Starmer today. I’m horrified that all Labour seem to be interested in is appealing to Reform voters. This is a genuine low point for me, -I’m a lifelong Labour voter and supporter, but I won’t vote for them while Starmer is in charge. #votegreen

I note with interest right-wing media's total absence of any concerns about prominent BBC presenter Armstrong expressing his highly political opinions. As was always perfectly clear to many of us, the problem was not that Lineker had views, but the fact they didn't approve of his views.

King Charles who loves killing foxes, birds, and badgers has been made Patron of the RSPCA.

King Charles used his power to block a ban on Fox Hunting and to make sure it is the joke ban we currently have.

RT if the RSPCA should remove him.

Vance comes to Munich and lectures Europe on free speech but fails to mention Russia, where free speech gets people murdered.
What should have been an important address about conflict is used to push an agenda to Europe's far right.
Nobody should trust a word said by his administration.

The irony of the richest man in the world almost single-handedly destroying an agency designed to help the world’s poor, so that the U.S. federal budget has more room for another giant tax cut for the richest man in the world and his pals, should not be lost on anyone. [Cartoon by Mike Luckovich]

Trump's treasury nominee Scott Bessent, who is worth ~$500 million, warned of "economic calamity" if Trump's tax cuts for the rich are not extended.

But when asked if we should raise the federal minimum wage above the current paltry $7.25/hr, he said no.

Economic populism.
Trump’s Treasury pick rejects minimum wage hike, champions tax breaks
Scott Bessent summarized the incoming administration’s perspective perfectly: Yes to tax breaks for the wealthy, no to increasing the minimum wage.

Ignore the whiny billionaire Media, and do it.

Badenoch was Minister for Children and Families. She never once raised the issue of grooming gangs or met any survivors.
But now she implies that Labour MPs are complicit, refuses to defend Jess Phillips and hopes to wreck the child safety bill.
All to please Musk.
Utterly… unforgivably detestable.

I genuinely can’t believe how bad Gavin and Stacey is………it’s just dreadful. Don’t get me wrong I’ve never particularly liked it, but this is just beyond terrible.

Whilst I am enjoying Bluesky significantly more that X, the “Discover” section for me is basically just cute photos of cats? Don’t get me wrong I like all animals including cats, but truth be told I am more of a Dog person. Can anyone explain this without the obvious “searching for pussy” joke?

This is how it’ll inevitably end, if / when we end up with fucking Farage as PM………..
40% of the $4tn a year Americans pay for their Healthcare is taken by Insurance Companies who do nothing but make profit and deny treatment with it.

It is $1.6tn down the drain.

Health Insurance should be banned and there should be a single Government scheme for everyone.

Quick question, is there a way to see what’s trending on Bluesky? Also is there a way of doing polls on here? Ta.

My first post on here and it’s a boring weather one, but in fairness it’s really unusual for it to snow here, let alone in November. I’m in the office early tomorrow so can’t take a snow day and go round drawing / building snow cocks either, -Typical.
