And THEN I saw Zheng isn't in D@vid's s3 fanfic, omg 🤣
Another thing I didn't like about s2 -- Zheng didn't get the three-dimensional and badass treatment that you were starting to expect in the early episodes. Instead her arc just tanks with, yes, racist and misogynistic tropes. Not like she got much character time by then anyway
also since you’re clearly looking for a fight i’ll just come out and say that ep7&8’s portrayal of zheng as someone who needs to be humbled & taught not to underestimate mediocre white men is blatantly racist & misogynistic - so yeah, misogyny is something to critique about the show.

I've always been attracted to older Freddie Mercury in a confused kind of way. Just now while watching the old music video for "I Want It All," I had an epiphany: it's because he was a slightly older gay man and I'm masc. I thought I was fem back then, so no wonder I was confused
