The NYT calls it “efficacy.” Let’s call it what it is: authoritarian cosplay. Suing the press, gagging comedians, and networks trembling for scraps — this isn’t strength, it’s democracy on life support.
The same week he sues the NY Times for $15 billion... *this* is the headline the NY Times goes with?
I'm probably overly sensitive - but doesn't this sound borderline admiring?

First Paramount kneecapped Colbert. Now Disney benches Kimmel. Forget jokes — the only thing networks laugh at is FCC approval.
CBS parent company Paramount canceled Colbert to win approval from Trump's FCC to merge with Skydance.

Now ABC parent company Disney suspends Kimmel as it seeks DOJ approval to buy Fubo — and its affiliate Nexstar seeks FCC approval to buy Tegna.

See how this works?

👉 ABC: Always Be Cowering. Disney: Where dreams go to die if Trump whines. The Mouse didn’t protect viewers — it protected itself. Free speech just got evicted from the Magic Kingdom.

Crockett: "If I had one issue with the Biden/Harris administration, it is the fact that they did not move forward and make sure that this man was put where he should've been put ... I never had a defended that had 34 convictions for felonies and did not spend one day in jail. Never in my life."

Texas just carved out 5 seats. Red states are rigging the map while we argue about vibes. California, New York, Illinois — step up or get steamrolled into permanent minority rule.
Texas is stealing 5 seats—more red states are lining up.

California can’t carry this fight alone. We need more blue states stepping up on redistricting. If you live in a blue state, contact your governor now

Here’s why

📌CA: Up to 5 seats possible

📌IL: 0–1 seat possible

📌NY: 1–2 seats possible

Red states are literally drawing democracy out of existence — Texas just swiped 5 seats. Blue states, stop playing nice. Use your pens, redraw the lines, fight like hell. This is the frontline of the war for America.

A bold move by Ukraine, dismantling Russia’s surveillance in occupied Crimea. Every strike chips away at Putin’s illusion of control.

Ukraine just torched Russia’s drone base in Crimea. Bold doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Massive attack on Russia now

Trump’s “solution” for Chicago is the National Guard. Because nothing says leadership like treating Americans as enemy combatants.
Donald Trump says he is going to deploy the National Guard to Chicago. This is what weak men do to pretend they’re strong.

Stay safe, stand with your community, and most importantly, know your rights:

Trump’s hand was dripping in concealer. Guess when the rot runs that deep, you’ve gotta spackle it.
He’s deteriorating in real time. The 79-year-old waddled out with a glob of cover-up smeared across his hand. Trump’s hand was caked in makeup as he shuffled out of the White House, raising even louder questions about what he’s hiding—besides his health.
August 22, 2025 at 11:36 PM
Kennedy and Hegseth are doing sit-ups to “make America fit again.” Perfect — because nothing says leadership like two clowns flexing while the country collapses. Maybe try a push-up on reality next time.
I remember that quite clearly. Funny how that works.

Bouzy says the house is on fire. Fair. But if the plan is just to scream louder while it burns, we’re all toast.

I’m still here, rolling my eyes.

Breaking: CBS canceling Colbert in May 2026—financial excuse in the day, political payoff at night. Paramount just paid Trump $16M, now pulls its sharpest critic? A merger watchdog's wet dream.

Columbia just agreed to pay $220M to Trump’s admin—to unlock $400M in frozen funding after campus protest crackdowns. That isn’t “fixing policy,” it’s capitulation masquerading as compliance. Ivy League? More like fear league.

The Trump regime is about to burn 500 tons of USAID emergency food. Why?
Because it expired after its shipment was delayed.

1.5 million children could have eaten for a week. Now, taxpayers will spend $130K for it to be destroyed.

This isn’t just inefficient – it’s cruel.

This isn’t a strategy. It’s sabotage by stupidity.

Geeez, isn’t 4D chess. It’s checkers with the board upside down.
"It’s notable that the Trump administration has not really even made an effort to organize a feasible lie. They have presented little evidence and have at times seemed to almost boast about the arbitrariness of their planning and decision-making." — @nberlat.bsky.social
Trump’s reckless Iran strikes could backfire spectacularly
America has entered few wars with less forethought, less deliberation, and more contempt for the public.

One more mind-blowing stat:
In the last NYC primary, 14.8% of Democratic ballots were left completely blank.

That’s not apathy—it’s a warning.

Vote with clarity. Vote with conviction.
Vote with your mind.
Oy!
