Yes yes 2025 could be a great year but in 2024 I saw freaking Gamma Ray, it hardly gets any better
Farewell and so long, Prince of Darkness.

Your time upon this earth has touched more lives than one can count.

The living roots of heavy metal are now passing into history

The end of an era and 'the end of the beginning'

Its hard not to feel a heavy emotion that isnt even necessarily about Ozzy himself but what he represents to heavy metal

Black Sabbath and Ozzy - you will always be legends
No matter how much you liked or disliked him or his music

None of us in heavy metal fandom or musicianship would be the same people without him and that little band from Birmingham

The Ozzman came and the Ozzman went

Goodnight, sweet prince of darkness

There's immense sadness, but it's incredibly moving to be able to share this pain and mourn together.

This too is part of Ozzy's legacy. A deep bonding and connection between all of us.

And so now we weep together.

Moments like this are a sting on our collective spirit because of how art and creation connect and empower us across time itself. Its the magic in the mundane

We're just a brief flame blinking between the nothingness -- and the love and beauty we share in the burning means something

I love you all

I really cannot conceptualise how hard Ozzy's death is hitting me, truly.

Every songs of every band, it all goes back to him. Everything we know and love about metal can be tracked back and pinpointed to Black Sabbath's 1970 debut album.

Just one single album from a single band.

I'm honestly really looking forward to Easter this year.

I'm not going home to my family, rather I'm going to Essen to see Ye Banished Privateers lmao

Weirdly enough I want to make an effort to return to (this) social media, for two reasons in particular.

First, currently I'm living abroad and alone; I want a place to record my random experiences and thoughts.

Second, I really miss a place to talk about metal, exchanging recommendations, etc.

Anyone knows brands for metal/rock/etc inspired clothes? Not necessarily band merch, but that's the vibe.

I need new hoodies and I want something I like but I would like quality things too.

Yesterday I played The Last Of Us: Escape The Dark, a boardgame. I really really liked it, I knew the bare bones mechanics already and the ambience was really great. I now feel a tiny tiny bit of curiosity towards the two videogames but... after covid I realised I can't handle postapocalyptic stuff.

Went snowboarding again yesterday and I'm very excited to say that it went well!! Very few falls, and I even managed to go down a rather steep slope!

Skiing in central Italy is rather cheap and it might be one of the few good things about living in the South
