I think we live at the point in human history when people stop creating innovations oof culture. No new songs, only the old ones. No writing anymore just fanfiction or product. Stagnation of the humanities, erasure and debasement of the past. We no longer are primarily dwellers in the world of our physical senses. The objects of our perception or the vast majority of such objects are now located in cyberspace. The inner subject orients itself by objects in cyberspace, our id, our ego, or superego, the unconscious, nomenclature of your choice dwell in an inner Holodeck as always, but now the objects there represented are no longer real. Some are. But some are more like images of images of images of images. Some are simulacra composed increasingly of private languages, thus hardly intelligible to more than one person, the creator of said code or language. Imaginarium? What to call the units or precincts of our awareness? But those things -- The things ***they*** point to, out there, are no longer real. Hardly a exaggeration anymore. I don't know how the destroying of our civilization and our transition to cyberspace are interconnected, but i feel they are.

Today is Chuck Berry's birthday. Amazing, one of a kind guitarist, songwriter, singer and entertainer. He had problems, did some bad things, but when I was a kid I didn't know and I loved all his stuff. RIP.

Record of my walking yesterday. 3.62 km or 2.25 miles and it took a while. my real goal is for my goal to be 10000 steps per day. some days just walking through the house is a bother so I'm proud and - holy Shit it felt so good even if it hurt like a motherfucker too.
