I think Russian intelligence services cannot believe their good fortune at everything that is happening right now. This is a bonanza across the board. The vicious attack on Ukraine, nutters at the FBI, Gabbard at DNI, shredding of CI capabilities. A monumental tragedy for the West.
This is incredible. Knock yourself out, Russian intel services. “A person familiar with the matter …said analysts at the agency were verbally informed that they were not to follow or report on Russian threats, even though this had previously been a main focus for the agency.” Cc @ciaranm.bsky.social

Threatening allies with territorial annexations and extorting partners while caving to Russia's demands isn't a display of toughness or masterful leadership. Waiting for a so-called tough leader to speak and act as strongly against Putin and Xi as he does against partners and allies

Three years ago, on February 10, 2022, Lavrov publicly stated that after drills in Belarus, Russian troops would not invade Ukraine but would return home.

Two weeks later, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This is Ihor's granddaughter Sofia. Russia killed her and her parents yesterday.

Ihor waited at the tragedy site all night. The bodies of his son and daughter-in-law still haven't been found.

The search and rescue operation in Poltava continues.

Tucker Carlson calls President Zelensky a “dictator” in the same interview where he criticized Churchill, blamed him for WWII, and declared, “Putin isn’t my enemy.”

The fact that this man has the ear of the president and vice president of the US, should alarm every freedom-loving American.

The same countries who promised to provide Ukraine with security under the Budapest Memorandum, in exchange for Kyiv giving up its nuclear arsenal, are now looking to make another peace deal with Russia some 30 years later and after their 2nd invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Cynical I know, but true.
Ukraine signed 20 ceasefire agreements with Russia between 2014 and 2020.
At least 8 signed during President Trump's first term.
Each one was broken by Russia, usually by slaughtering Ukrainian civilians in occupied Donbas with artillery and blaming Ukraine for the atrocities.

The horror that Russia is inflicting upon the farmers of Kherson is going unreported. Let me tell you a few things.

The road between Stanislav and Oleksandrivka is heavily mined by Russian drones. They drop mines from things like mavics to cover the roads and the areas around the roads
