scrolling algorithmic feeds was nice because it was so low-effort. but having fake media nearly indistinguishable from reality is making it HARD WORK because i have to inspect everything i encounter

You still have to Do The Art.
It doesnt matter that you arent confident.
You still have to assemble your image regardless of how you feel about the art lol. So start Doing The Thing and feel bad during the process until it stops feeling bad.
Eventually it feels Routine.
