Just waited 37 minutes for an F3 bus (supposed to come every 15 to 20 minutes). When it did show up, there was no number displayed- we had to ask the driver.
#Busconnects is an absolute joke.

In 1968, a small group of Irish people saw suffering and famine in Biafra, and they didn’t wait for the world to act. Our community has grown, but our mission remains the same - because ending extreme poverty, wherever it is in the world, is our Concern.

Very sad to see the poet and general sharp observer of life Pat Ingoldsby has died. So, as he prepared for this event, here's to Pat. 🥃

I met with a face I knew and challenged him, thinking it had been one of the Theatre musicians, and did enquire for a song of him, but finding it a mistake, and that it was a gentleman that comes sometimes to the office, I was much ashamed.

Increasingly worried that asking me to forecast Trump's use of tariffs is a bit like asking an aviation expert to predict the behaviour of a knife wielding pantsless man on the bus just because he happens to be raving about chem trails.

Leaving #Rathmines today after having lived here for over ten years. It’s a great area to live in, and I have a lot of happy memories, but it’s time to move on #movingday

#Justread Unruly by David Mitchell. Think the Guardian summed it up best, describing it as “part Horrible Histories, part jolly romp guided by Alan Bennett’s view that history has no sense but is just one fucking thing after another”.
Thumbs up from me.

Cast my ballot. It’s not a perfect system but, on balance, it’s much more preferable than a lot of the alternatives.

On a side note, the kids art hanging up in St. Louis Primary School, Rathmines is particularly good!
