i haven't had a smart phone in almost 4 years now and while it is wildly inconvenient - the power i feel from being unreachable outweighs the powerlessness of not being able to google things or use GPS while walking

The morning is the only time during the work week that I have energy/focus/executive function.
Every morning starting at 6am for months now there has been load road work outside of my apartment, completely robbing me of any focus or drive that I could have.
