Don’t you feel there is a little contradiction here though; wanting to leave an impression (of herself ) yet leave no trace? Maybe I’m being to literal in my reading? The idea of a soft natural cushion does however sound appealing. 🧐

Goldfinches tittering in the hedge; disturbed they launch into a clear blue sky and then disappear into the grandmother Oak always ready to welcome them. #firstbirdofmyday

Yes, it’s a challenge keeping the dogs cool, Rexy has found the last couple of days difficult. He’s been reluctant to go for a walk even at 530am. It can’t be nice walking around wearing a fur coat even early on. Take care. 🐕🐕

There are these two too! And taking shelter under the far trees a dappled mum and her foul! Lovely. Two fouls came to say hello to Rex through the fence; don’t think he knew what to make of them, but joined in the kisses, mums watch with a stern eye. 👍🐕

Sounds a bit like Rex after scoffing his breakfast and then looking forlornly at his empty bowl!! 🤪🤪
