The far right will eventually kill someone or lots of someones if our pathetic government does not act now to stop them … first step would be for politicians, including Government ministers, to stop repeating far right racist rhetoric #speirgorm
Firefighters rescued five people, including three children under ten, from the top floor of an Ipas centre in Drogheda last night after a major fire.

Gardaí have preserved the scene while the cause of the blaze is investigated.

I’ll be voting for Catherine Connolly #1.

There has never been a more important time to elect a President who will be independent and represent Ireland with pride, courage and integrity.

I never had much regard for Heather Humphreys as a Minister, but the level of vitriol she’s firing around the studio during the #rtethisweek debate is highly unpresidential. On the other hard Catherine Connolly is unflappable, reflective and calm … #connollyforpresident #aras25

Amidst shameful media neglect of genocide in #Gaza, there has been a consistent exception: the UK’s Channel 4 News.

Today’s report on the daily killings by Israelis of the starving queuing for food aid.

Wait for the UN assessment at the end.

This is a difficult but essential watch. Pls share.

Did you know they have subscriptions to huge amounts of national and international media that you can access?

The Irish government is reportedly preparing to buy US LNG from fracked gas, by allowing the construction of a commercial import terminal, in exchange for economic concessions from Trump.

We need to cut dependence on fossil fuels as quickly as possible - not lock it in for decades.
Government moves towards commercial LNG facility in departure from Green policy. Sources cite energy security, independents in gov, trade leverage with Trump, and analysis from GNI showing difficulty of state led emergency reserve as key reasons for shift www.businesspost.ie/article/gove...
