a crayon in hand I commit an act of color. The bow arrives first, too pink, too confident, like it walked in knowing something. Tears next, completely unsupervised. The words crash down, yelling before I even invite them: “I’M NOT CRYING.”

I press harder. The crayons giggle. I don’t trust them.

Another in my parts portrait series…

She showed up mid-scene.
Didn’t say where she came from. Didn’t need to.
Took the corner, rearranged it. Left the walls wondering what just happened.
Stayed long enough to soften the paint.

Nice to be getting reacquainted with my pencils. Not that we ever really knew each other. But they seem cool with it.

I want a rpg like Dragon Age except it’s Bridgerton and you have to find a suitable partner before the end of the game through stealth and dates but you have to let me have a fully customized pc, a pc home, and a pc wardrobe. Oh and collection system like Skyrim. Oh and you also fight crime.

It still blows my mind to this day that Britain could be so unfathomably stupid, the brain drain this has had on Britain due to visa issues is seismic too. A genuine embarrassment & believe me, As a regular traveler to Spain Britain is nothing short of a laughing stock the world over because of it.

a good part of me thinks that in addition to everything else, the reason they are scrubbing these stories is they do not want disadvantaged kids to believe they can aspire to anything other than their designated “black” or “hispanic” or “woman” job
This profile has been scrubbed from the site. Rose Ferreira grew up without reliable electricity, immigrated to NY, then survived homelessness and cancer on her way to NASA. She was so moved by images from the Webb telescope she wept. This is what’s at stake

I don't like this. Feels even more icky than all of us paying it bc it will affect marginalized people who didn't vote for this stuck in red states. This plan assumes a red state = unanimous red vote or the ability to move if they don't like it...
