"I'm a Mess" has to be the most begging, yearning song that exists. He told her she could have slit his throat instead of leaving him. He even said the dog cried, and he just stopped working for 3 weeks. Help him!

I parked my car to listen to the birds & read. The very first bird I saw, I got excited because it's in my neighborhood & I've never noticed it before. I open the bird app & it coincidentally, it is my bird of the day. I was depressed earlier, mourning my mom & got this tiny nugget of joy. 🐦‍⬛

My hold for "Oathbound" is a ready. Should I choose the audiobook or the ebook because, umm... the audiobook is TWENTY-FIVE damn hours long. 🤯 That's Ken Follet territory right there, better yet, the Bible. Tracy Deonn is what the kids call "a yapper." I'm excited. #booksky 📚

Don't offer a draw because you blundered your Queen. Just resign if it's that serious. So annoying.

"It's Blitz" (2009) by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is so good, and it doesn't get talked about enough when discussing the 2010s era of music. No skips! It's critically acclaimed, but I feel like people rarely talk about the group.

Thanks to TikTok, "Maps" off of their debut album is always trending.

If you don't read but want to start, if you like sci-fi & thrillers, try "Dark Matter" by Blake Crouch.

It's less than 400 pages, the "science" is easy to follow & the action is persistent. And, most importantly, it's a really fun book.

"Come Back to Me" is not talked about enough when we discuss Janet Jackson. It's one of the best late 80s/early 90s brokenhearted R&B ballads.

Imagine now, big gold chains full of rocks. How you no see the whip, left scars 'pon me back. But now we have a big whip parked 'pon de block." -Assassin

I thought Benson Boone or Michael Jackson was going to be on the list because that's all my son and I listen to when we hang out. Snoh is my husband's work. She's on my list every year because of him. 🤗 #spotifywrapped

I played 3,109 songs, and these topped my list. I guess I haven't listened to any music since the summer. 🤣

I need to start reading happier books. My average time to finish is hilarious. I blame that on the Libby app making my holds available all at once & then snatching my books before I can finish. And me overestimating my ability to read 5 books at once. 🤣 #wrapup #booksky #blackbooksky

I wasn't able to read very much in October, so I'm glad to be back on track for November! I still have two more books I was hoping to finish this month, but there's still December.

For the first time in its history, the annual CLPE #ReflectingRealities survey, funded by Arts Council England, reports an overall drop in the percentage of racially minoritised characters featured in published children’s books reviewed – from 30% in 2022 to 17% in 2023

I'm about to play "Not Like Us" 5000 times in a row like I did for "Old Town Road" when that demographic started to get out of pocket. 🤣 (My Spotify wrapped for 2019/2020 was interesting.)

This is not Joe Budden promo post, but I watched him reacting to the "GNX" drop. When he said, in his best Dr. Umar voice, "What does he want us to learn before the superbowl?" I screamed. 🤣
