I parked my car to listen to the birds & read. The very first bird I saw, I got excited because it's in my neighborhood & I've never noticed it before. I open the bird app & it coincidentally, it is my bird of the day. I was depressed earlier, mourning my mom & got this tiny nugget of joy. 🐦⬛

"It's Blitz" (2009) by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is so good, and it doesn't get talked about enough when discussing the 2010s era of music. No skips! It's critically acclaimed, but I feel like people rarely talk about the group.

It's less than 400 pages, the "science" is easy to follow & the action is persistent. And, most importantly, it's a really fun book.

I wasn't able to read very much in October, so I'm glad to be back on track for November! I still have two more books I was hoping to finish this month, but there's still December.
