A good emotional flick on Hulu that should have been a contender for award season. "Exhibiting Forgiveness" starring Andre Holland, Andra Day, Aunjanue Ellis & John Earl Jelks. Film written & directed by artist Titus Kaphar.

I debated writing this. It can feel tempting, upon encountering yet another instance of this administration’s racism, to let it be. How many ways can you say the same thing over and over again? And yet we have to write it down, if for nothing else, so those who come after us know we were against it.

"I'm a Mess" has to be the most begging, yearning song that exists. He told her she could have slit his throat instead of leaving him. He even said the dog cried, and he just stopped working for 3 weeks. Help him!

All of these changes with Bluesky & I'm still unable to click notifications from my phone & be taken directly to the comment. 🙆🏾‍♀️

I think most of my skeets are just complaints about this.

I have stopped recommending history based books to people online. I realize that a lot of people, myself included, would benefit from a few collegiate-level courses. A book, or three, is not enough.

I read an article that said Bluesky was a bubble. That there was no room for desenting views. The issue isn't that most people on Bluesky have similar viewpoints, it's that the opposing viewpoints are mostly people saying shit like, "peepee poopoo." Adult toddlers who are trolling.

These anti-Iranian, pro-Isreali commercials that play every 5 minutes on PlutoTV are disturbing. What planet am I on?

I parked my car to listen to the birds & read. The very first bird I saw, I got excited because it's in my neighborhood & I've never noticed it before. I open the bird app & it coincidentally, it is my bird of the day. I was depressed earlier, mourning my mom & got this tiny nugget of joy. 🐦‍⬛

I'm trading in my child for complaining about me shushing her because I "watched this 20 times already" during my rewatch of Beyoncé's "Homecoming."

Like, what was her point? I'm about to restart it to assert my dominance.
