Peter Watkins gone. He was a hugely important filmmaker. Best known for The War Game but his 1964 Culloden film still influences way history TV is made today. It’s not perfect but it’s amazing and on YouTube as a good print. Watch it in his honour! youtu.be/-1TZq6DfKKA?...

Peter Watkins gone. He was a hugely important filmmaker. Best known for The War Game but his 1964 Culloden film still influences way history TV is made today. It’s not perfect but it’s amazing and on YouTube as a good print. Watch it in his honour! youtu.be/-1TZq6DfKKA?...

I'm rather hoarse now as a result, but really enjoyed today's inaugural 'Leisure Industry Day' at Mar Lodge. We invited tour guides, MLs, MTB guides, DofE leaders etc to the estate so we could update them on our work, so they can in turn pass up to date info on to their clients when they're on site.

One of our favourite Scottish castles: the magical Drum Castle near Peterculter in Aberdeenshire. Part of the castle dates back as far as the early 1200s, with the rest being added in stages over the following six centuries. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...
