Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (2008, Team Ninja)
it's crazy how well they translated 3D Ninja Gaiden to the DS
easily has the best writing of modern Ninja Gaiden, there's some good character work in here
a lot of the bosses are reused from 1 and stylus only controls mean non precise inputs

Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (2008, Team Ninja)
it's crazy how well they translated 3D Ninja Gaiden to the DS
easily has the best writing of modern Ninja Gaiden, there's some good character work in here
a lot of the bosses are reused from 1 and stylus only controls mean non precise inputs

went for a replay after finishing Lumines Arise and even though this game is still basically perfect, it's amazing to see the evolution between these two games

this is one of the most beautiful games i've ever played, an unbelievable audiovisual experience that almost moved me to tears

compared to Black, I think it's a bit weaker in terms of removing the puzzle solving elements and streamlining NG1 as more of a pure action game, and i question some of the balancing decisions
but it's still Ninja Gaiden 1
