On the east side of campus, work is going vertical on multiple residence halls being developed by TCU and American Campus Communities. These developments include a 1,322-bed first-year residential hall, 454-bed sophomore hall and 120 bed town homes for upper-division students.

Morado on Berry, a two-building development between the Bookstore and Molly Reid Hall, has made the most progress. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the mixed-use buildings will offer 779 beds and include an integrated parking garage and street-level retail activating Berry Street.

Across 8th Avenue, a new facility for Kids' Place Child Development Center is ongoing. The original Kid’s Place was demolished to make way for the aforementioned West Tower. Other planned projects on the campus include a 504-car garage south of the West tower and expanded utility plants.

The L-shaped development includes with 11,000 sqft of ground floor retail space and a three-level parking podium with 540 spaces. Above the podium is a 5 story, 100,000 sqft of Class A office building and a 7-story, 226 unit multifamily building with amenity deck above the garage.

Designed by GFF and built by The Beck Group, the $70.5 million development is part of the larger Crescent Fort Worth mixed-use development, which includes The Crescent Hotel, Fort Worth and Crescent Residences, all just steps away from Fort Worth's museums.

From here, the building will rise eight stories above grade, ultimately delivering 170,000 square feet of office space, with JPMorgan Chase serving as the anchor tenant. The project will feature a fitness center, conference facilities, and two on-site restaurants.

Operating on the same corridor as TEXRail, riders from Fort Worth can now access destinations such as Downtown Carrollton, University of Texas at Dallas, Addison Circle, Cityline, Downtown Plano and more through a single transfer between TEXRail and the Silver line at the DFW Airport North Station.

Planned at the NE corner of University Dr and White Settlement Rd, the site of the former FWISD headquarters, the building will also feature ground-floor retail, including two restaurants, with parking located in an underground garage.
