NEW and WIDER Bridge 23 is now OPEN on the Mount Vernon Trail
Bridge 23 that crosses over Dyke Marsh opened this week. This bridge is 14 feet wide with railings that meet modern safety standards. It was also built with helical piles which can resist storm surges and have a much longer life than wooden piles. This bridge is popular for biking, running, walking and bird watching.
