@resfoundation.bsky.social I was going to sign up, but you effectively created a compulsory opt-in for further marketing, which must by context include email comms. Are you absolutely sure this is allowed under PECR and other data privacy regs? If you're using legitimate purposes, do you need this?
A screenshot of the ticket checkout page - shows 'Data processing', then some partial wording about the foundation using "legitimate purposes in order to fulfil our charitable objectives and we may contact you from time to time to share information", then a box to tick you agree, under which it says, in red, "Please provide a value for this field" - i.e., you can't proceed without opting in to further marketing that, in the context, can only be sent by email.

Oh, and I also kinda like the lesser known 'language reactor' - I've only got the free version and it's clunky, but they have whole novels on there to read in Spanish.... perhaps worth looking at for other languages too?
