Despite all the psychological jargon being used in everyday speech, people are actually not very honest or forthcoming with stating their feelings in a matter of fact way, they either form part of self rationalisations, or disclosure is used to blackmail the other

It's a repetition of the breakdown of independent web 2.0 of the mid to late 2000s. Early Twitter (2007-8) was some weird shit to behold that nobody knew how to process - until algorithmic and image based microblogging and identitarianism broke down consciousness to the point it became usable
