Not to polished standard due to having the child off on holidays, but decided to go for Armies on Parade, managed to at least get coherent colour schemes and got to show off my Lelith conversion.

My daughter found an old Bluetooth controller, so when I was out of the room she hid the normal black Xbox controller, used crayons to draw on an Xbox home button and put it in the place of the real one. Then she just waited, barely keeping the giggles in.

Ok, so the bases aren't done, but I'm pretty proud that I got these sprues in the post, assembled them and painted them the same day. Mandrakes using the Namarti Thralls kit.

Got some second hand Namarti Thrall sprues in the post this morning, put them together and painted them tonight to be Drukhari Mandrakes.

Converted an Abominant into a Ruinator using kitbashed weapons and magnets.
Then had a crazy idea to make a kitbashed Knight Atropos from scratch. One Thanatar kit combined with a wardog kit later, and with a healthy sprinkle of everything I've kept from sprues...

My seven year old made these decorative plates to celebrate finishing Untitled Goose Game with me in co-op. Then when I went to pick them up, she locked me in a garage. Thanks, @househouse.bsky.social

Just a thought, but I wouldn't use this game as a method of teaching. My daughter played it through and now she keeps stealing my things and making me buy them back from a market stall.

Kitbashed Knight Ruinator now finished in terms of construction, resculpting and magnetising (can still swap out to be an Abominant). Now starting painting, piece by piece. Bonus points for identifying the pieces.
