Though when considering the things that are going on right now, this almost seems just like normal everyday corruption. I only give it a 6/10 on the MAGA corruption scale.

I agree America is great and gas made strides for humanity, but what has made America great to you?
I would assert that it's what makes the US more unique. An innovative government structure, diversity in backgrounds, trailblazers in social issues, and tech advances.
Not blind patriotism and hate.

I'm 38 and just now realizing I've been overestimating someone that's been around my entire life.
I can't help but to lose a lot of respect for them when they let fear, entitlement, hate, bigotry, and disinformation rule their lives without any research or self reflection.

So what is the solution to fixing the internet?
It's become a mess of disinformation, propaganda, and brain rot for the growing minds of children.
I believe it needs to start with accountability for companies managing these platforms, and user education.
Anyone else have ideas?

Genuinely wild how much the internet 15 years ago felt like a frontier and now feels like those terminals you get in video games with a couple of pages to give you the illusion of an explorable internet, like in cyberpunk 77. Just fully fucked the whole thing up
