Yesterday the House Ag Committee released their proposed budget reconciliation text - $300b in cuts to the SNAP, which provides food assistance to more than 42 million people nationwide!

Our coalition of farmers & ranchers strongly opposes these cuts. Read our statement here: shorturl.at/qPjQE

"SNAP doesn’t just feed people. It keeps local businesses alive. It connects farms to schools and pantries. It lets working families put good food on the table. And in rural America, it may be the only thing holding our food systems together."

So I’ve had my 1st Black History Month event cancellation because of “DEI concerns,” citing a fear of frivolous suits. Funny thing is, I don’t do DEI, I’m a historian of the Black American experience. A reminder that DEI is just a dog whistle about suppressing history, if you need a reminder.

They all know this!! Maybe some criminals might get deported as a media stunt. Bottom line is construction companies got rich off of illegal immigrants. Nobody giving up their money.
HALF of all construction workers in Texas are undocumented. HALF.

"At best, immigration has an understated effect on the housing crisis. At worst, large-scale deportation plans could cripple an already strained construction labor industry."

I have said this for years, particularly to my Fox addicted relatives. If I pushed back on any of the nonsense they would repeat at a gathering, I would get "You heard that on CNN" or "I guess you like Nancy Pelosi." They have been reduced to paranoid parrots.

He was a sexual deviant and molested his own kids from his first wife while the church said he had "repented." He was still a pastor of a 700 person congregation. Now possibly a murderer? Example of the evangelical church being more of a cult. Enabling these pastors to be reckless.

Mica Miller's pastor husband announced her death abruptly after a sermon and told the congregation to not talk about it.

It only fanned the flames for locals, national news outlets and an army of online sleuths.

I knew on July 22nd.
I knew on August 17th.
I knew on September 10th.
I knew on November 5th, and I knew the day after.

And I know now: Kamala Harris was the right choice.

She should be President right now.

And I'll be spending 100% of the next several years calling out all of trump's bullshit.

This is scary + sad. An ectopic pregnancy can end a woman's life and her chance of ever bearing children.
If someone tell you that all abortion bans allow for the treatment of ectopic pregnancies, ask them how each state defines EP.

EPs can be extrauterine *and* intrauterine.

Texas, for ex, restricts EP to "the implantation of a fertilized egg or embryo outside of the uterus."
