one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

Luke Grenfell-Shaw's story is one of resilience, hope, and the power of movement, on and off the trail 🏃‍♂️

First card of the season arrived and I have many questions. Also it might be revenge for the fact I long ago stopped sending cards because can’t be arsed.

Should be #trailrunning but I’m still injured so instead had a fine cheese pie and chips on a cold and grey day in the Yorkshire Dales

This is the most interesting article on an ultra runner I have ever read

His entire approach really speaks to me. The whole idea of “clarity vs competition” as the process in his race and where his mind goes and how it works as he runs

Wow

It’s a long and must read article

A short and much-needed, head-clearing run by the sea. Feet still a bit painful but made no worse by running.

After all the rain yesterday and a hair-raising drive through Wales, it’s a fresh morning by the sea. No #running due to ongoing weird feet, but good to be out in the cool air.

Observations on running in Rome. Nobody gives way, there is outright defiance from walkers, they have priority, they will stare you down. No smiles, nods or acknowledgement from fellow runners, perhaps everyone is too cool for that 😎 (I am not cool so have upset everyone with my happy hi’s)

November sunshine run at Villa Borghese, Rome. Last day of holiday and my only run of the week due to a nasty shellfish 🦐 incident. One of the fckers must have snuck in to my dinner and I’m allergic to them, causing my joints to seize up!

Staying in Rome next to the Conservatorio (Kids From Fame for classical and opera) and we’ve had baritones and piano practice every morning, but today they are blasting Londonbeat - a banger! Fully expecting them to come dancing down the street in legwarmers..

Look at this amazing starling murmuration that was filmed at our Tarn Sike reserve! 😍

Murmurations usually form just before the birds settle in to roost. 😴

Have you seen any murmurations yet this year? Let us know where! 😄
