Blue Zone residents don’t chase step counts or obsess over workouts. Instead, they walk, garden and stay physically active as part of daily life.

“Walking is the best exercise,” said Marjorie Jaffe, a New York–based trainer.

In what appears to be her first try at a 100-miler, Ireland’s Caitriona Jennings set a new women’s world record for the distance at the 2025 Tunnel Hill 100 in 12:37:04.

She eclipsed the previous record of 12:42:40, set by Camille Herron at the same event in 2017.

Pushed over 2,000 miles in total for the year today. 16 miles with nearly 1,900 feet of vert.

That much vert in flat Indiana? Yep, that's thanks to focusing on the hills.

26 hill repeats, spread out among three hills at this park.

Keep showing up.

Redefine what is possible.

Dream big.

• The race gives back to the community.

• RD @libbyruns.bsky.social is awesome!

Every runner has days when the legs feel heavy.
Often, it’s just fatigue from training, work and life. But occasionally that “off day” is something deeper.
