Went on a spontaneous, completely unplanned trip with a friend to grand canyon in high school. No hotel reservation, so camped out in the desert way off the main roads. Woke up in the middle of the night to the most gawdawful & bizarre noises coming from all around us. Coyotes. close. on all sides.

I mean, every vista in the southwest has been a film set at least twice (with the number of times is inversely proportional to the distance from Hollywood)

I discovered, after her death, that my mother was a lab tech in the 60s and helped developed the technology behind Pringles (freeze dried potatoes). This is known as generational trauma.
