There's a gap where a pic should be, but it's just black. I thought maybe you were suggesting a trip into the void.

Given the car is matte black, I'm going to say it's a filmmaking vehicle with a boom arm (jib crane) for the camera. Lots of reasons it is being towed (it may not be street legal except during filming, they don't want to put expensive vehicle at risk unnecessarily, etc). Here's an example:
