Well this was amusing. I thought it had a lost parcel because it had been delivered today which I didn't realise. Turns out a relative accepted the delivery and put it in a corner where nobody noticed until just now. At least I now discovered Parcel App that managed to help tell me where it was.

Bought five more games from @gog.com. Capcom's Breath of Fire IV, Eidos-Montréal's Deus Ex: Human Revolution, IO Interactive's Kane & Lynch 1 & 2, and Falcom's Xanadu Next.

Picked up three more films for the 4K collection via HMV's 3 for £50. We have Ridley Scott's 1982 film Blade Runner: The Final Cut (which I own on Blu-ray already so it's an upgrade here), Andrzej Bartkowiak's 2005 film adaptation of DOOM, and Francis Ford Coppola's 2024 film Megalopolis.

Picked up J-Stars Victory Vs.+ in CeX for £10. Surprised this game is still available for low prices considering it was delisted years ago. I have the Japanese PS3 version which I put a lot of hours into and this is one way to keep it going on current platforms.

Just got back from watching Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery at the local Picturehouse cinema. Absolutely loved the film, the cast were great and the story was really good, also different to the previous two films as well. Solid conclusion also. Could do with more detective work but loved it.

Last Saturday I also finished playing the Shadow of the Colossus remake on PlayStation 4. I played the HD remaster years ago and this game looked really good and is just as fun as the original. The camera sensitivity was pretty bad so you want to tone it down to avoid motion sickness.

Since I had to use up more of my holiday days I have today and tomorrow off work. Good timing since I have booked my ticket to watch Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery later today.

I see 88 Films just revealed their March 2026 slate. Includes two Japanese live-action film adaptations by director Mika Ninagawa; Helter Skelter and Sakuran coming to Blu-ray as part of the Japanarchy collection.

Interesting to see not just Lycoris Recoil but also Engage Kiss and Fate Babylonia also make their appearances from the Aniplex catalogue for UK home video releases. Took a while but good news for those who didn't go for the US or Australian sets.

Surprised this blew up a bit, but I have at least 12 anime ordered from the sales (3/4 from Discotek, 5 from Sentai & 4 from Crunchyroll UK). I plan to get more though it may have to wait until December.

My new laptop arrived earlier today. I have upgraded from the HP OMEN 15 from 2018 to the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 released in 2025.
Managed to carry everything I needed over without too much hassle, and also installed File Pilot and GOG Galaxy.

Arrived last Friday were the latest Limited Run Games pickups with the physical PS5 releases of 90s classics Fear Effect and Gex Trilogy. Both of these are different cover variants that were briefly made available on their website.

I have a new laptop arriving this Monday which is exciting. My current one is starting to wear itself out especially with the keyboard as I have lost access to certain keys heh. Been meaning to upgrade for a while and my current one has lasted since Oct 2018 and technically still works but flawed.

Surprisingly its snowing in my village. We tend to not get any snow especially during this time of year, but it's looking good. I do need to drive to the office tomorrow as my WFH setup isn't particularly great due to various factors (if it were spot-on I would just WFH).

Watched more anime today. Went through 7 episodes of My Hero Academia Final Season as well as continuing where I left off on Witch Watch after putting it on-hold for a while (episodes 7-10). Really enjoyed both so far.

Watched more anime today. Went through 7 episodes of My Hero Academia Final Season as well as continuing where I left off on Witch Watch after putting it on-hold for a while (episodes 7-10). Really enjoyed both so far.
I have ordered a new laptop as my current one is starting to run into some issues. Won't arrive until December but at least it's sorted sooner than later.

Finished the Yakuza 4 Remaster. Also been 10 years since I last played the PS3 version. Aged better than the previous game and the new cast were great. Story is a bit convoluted but still interesting how intertwined it is between each of the main leads. 25 hours playtime with most substories done.
