Young American men volunteer for military service, knowing they may have to sacrifice their lives for their country.

I will never understand this. The second hand embarrassment from an entire country away is palpable. How are they not embarrassed at how blatantly stupid this kind of crap is? Even if it couldn't be debunked in under a minute, the cringe is terrible.
