Yeah, the money thing is complicated - this article is a few years old but it shows that political donations for both leaned heavily right. www.businessinsider.com/home-depot-l...
A right-wing mega-donor who founded Home Depot just dumped Trump. But this isn't the first political controversy to hit the home improvement giant or its rival Lowe's.
Home Depot and Lowe's both run political action committee that tend to contribute donations to Republican Congressional candidates.

Oh that’s a shame. Ya, we just have to make the best choices we can.

I don’t understand your question. Just googled Bomgaars - it looks like a great family-owned option. What do you do now for your hardware needs? If you’re ordering online, you could order from Bomgaars, no? Do you think encouraging people to spend locally is a bad idea because it’s too far for you?

We have several in my area. Encouraging people to shop local and family-owned is a good idea. Many times it seems people don’t even think about the importance of doing so.

Of course, after repeated Covid infections it’s gonna be pretty hard for people to “just be healthy”. And all those people will be discounted under the “pre-existing conditions” banner.

Want to pull out this slide: people deserve to know there’s a growing mountain of evidence finding more Covid infections = more likelihood of being left chronically ill.

There’s a temptation to think that if you recovered ok last time, then you will next time too, but that’s not what the data say.

A young woman on TikTok recently posted a video speaking about how she will die without the insulin she will no longer be able to afford. How she won’t be able to stockpile it forever. How heavy it was to consider that as a young person full of dreams and potential. My heart breaks for her.
