Really, all he's doing is announcing additional spending on programs that are already in the works. All of these things are already a focus of the Department of National Defense's 2025 departmental plan.

Super useful thread. I've been considering many of these questions recently. I'm so embedded with Google, and I hate it. I need to pull my storage, which is the hardest bit. I'll still use maps, I guess, but I'll do my best to limit how much data I give them. 🤷‍♂️

Come to British Columbia. We have bears, lynx, mountain lions, and lots of farms. Apex predators are essential for a balanced ecosystem. Read Aldo Leopold's "Think like a Mountain".

I went back to University and did a second degree in the mid-aughts. At the very end of that we ended up seeing a social worker when some funding didn't come through. This person was 100% focused on keeping us out of the system.

Even if this were true, having lived in the Pacific NW, in Canada, in a town where we got our water from a glacier, I can say with some authority that we do not have limitless amounts of water. The misconception that we do is dangerous.

I'll never understand people from either side of the political spectrum that see politics, even morality, as a zero-sum game. That approach is fine if you're a preschooler but quickly falls apart in the real world.
