The world isn't going to censor itself. The world is full of just as much pain, suffering, and dark places, as it is full of joy, extacy, and happy endings. Art is how we take all of that from inside of us and simply expell it in an act of creation. To censor art is to censor the human condition.

i'm not an anime person (i barely watch anything ever, and i'm not even a graphic novel person.. guess i just want words lol) but the responses of existing fans or simply like genre aware ppl to the clueless anti discourse on this (maybe 5 years ago? it was *such* a thing for a while!) were so 👨🍳's💋
