On piles of money stuffed with so many drugs they can't feel anything anymore. That is the only answer I can come up with. Bless their hearts, I don't want to believe anyone is that inhuman without pharmacological assistance.

The conquering worm of capitalism chews through everything you use and love when we aren't paying attention. It is slow and by the time we notice it, its killed its host. Money and power are the most seductive and destructive poisons.
it genuinely sucks that basically nothing on the internet works well anymore. search? barely works. social media? filled with garbage engagement-bait designed to game the algorithm. news websites? pages that refresh at random or so covered in video ads that it’s impossible to read stories

Maybe in the early 80s. I remember people being so worried queer folk might survive AIDS, while the community was fighting the government just to admit AIDS existed. Reagan was a fascist who lead a genocide against our people.
Can anyone think of a time in our history where we were worried about gays trans gender and women’s access to healthcare as much as we are worried about these republicans taking over ever and destroying our country.

For some people it is hard to see the old home town burn down. For others it is an opportunity to build something new. It's time to leave all our comfort zones or the old ways will own us forever.
Honestly surprised people are freaking out over Facebook. I left it because it became a far right hellsite like 5 years before Twitter did. It's been that way for a very long time.
