Trump ends promising cancer research. USA! USA!

“Two patients’ treatments using the experimental therapy had to be delayed because NIH’s capacity to make personalized cell therapies has been slowed by the firing of highly skilled staff..."

NIH scientists have a cancer breakthrough. Layoffs are delaying it.
A big step forward in cancer therapy has been slowed by layoffs and new restrictions at the National Institutes of Health, where it was developed.

Gutting Social Security isn’t "efficient" — it’s a broken promise.

Democrats and Republicans should stand up and fight back to protect it.

My op-ed in Fox News:
SEN ELIZABETH WARREN: Social Security is under attack. Gutting it is a broken promise
People are struggling with sky-high prices while their retirement savings are evaporating. We need a temporary increase in benefits right now to give people some relief.

Undocumented immigrants paid an effective federal income tax rate of 5.27% in 2022.

That means they paid a higher effective tax rate than 5 of the richest Americans…and a higher effective tax rate than 55 mega corporations.

So let me ask you: who are the real freeloaders?

The United States is the richest country in the history of the world. But who benefits from those riches?

Consider: the richest 10% of Americans hold nearly 70% of the nation’s wealth – while the bottom 50% hold just 3%.

See the problem?

While Donald Trump throws our economy into chaos, Republicans in Congress just advanced Trump's plan to cut health care for millions of people to pay for tax handouts for billionaires and giant corporations.

We're going to fight it with everything we've got.

3) Increase premiums, out-of-pocket costs, and administrative barriers for low- and middle-income families.

Republicans couldn’t repeal the ACA in Congress, so now they’re trying to gut it through executive action.

We can’t let that happen.

Remember: The recipe for economic growth isn’t tax cuts for the rich. It’s investment in our people — in health care, infrastructure and education — to build a strong middle class.

You don't grow the economy through trickle-down nonsense.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

It seems that Trump wants a recession. Why?

A recession will drive down the prices of real estate, companies, and shares of stock.

Trump and his fellow billionaires want to buy up everything on the cheap and then enjoy the ride upward — no matter the cost to working people.

Yet GOP is about to brutally slash the safety net and give the rich huge tax cuts!

Firing 7000 IRS agents will make it even easier for the rich to get away with skirting what they owe.

But it's also a gift to the multi-billion dollar tax prep industry.

Fewer IRS agents to help you file your taxes means more money in the pockets of companies like TurboTax.
