Proud to say I know many of my neighbors featured here calling out authoritarianism to its face.
Yesterday, HSI and MPD set up a checkpoint on Rhode Island Ave in DC. Neighbors stood on either end, holding signs saying “LA MIGRA ADELATE.”
As HSI and MPD started to pack it up, residents told them, “we don’t think you’re good Americans” and “fuck you guys, go home.”

Pull into a gas station in DC (at Florida & Rhode Island Aves) to inflate my tire and find Rep Barney Frank at the tire inflation machine. He & his co-pilot are being assisted by a local entrepreneur. He drives off. Entrepreneur turns to me and touts his services as “i do this work for congressmen!”
