Why am I an Aussie who is so into U.S.A. politics? I understand the place. My mother was U.S.A. born and my U.S.A. relatives are MAGA types, so there is often dialogue on the big issues. Also somehow ancestrally connected to President #18 (Rep). It was a very different Republican party back then.

Look, I'm so happy that Dutton is gone and it's a Labor win rather than the LNP. But, to see Labor win such a majority and people turn their backs on the Greens and others pushing for *genuine* progress for social and environmental justice makes me very sad. Labor are neoliberal light. #AusVotes25
