@tanglingbat06.bsky.social also Allan specifically referred to the creepy con goer as a sir. If it gets used out of context by bad people it’s not the fault of the people who made it.

@animatedantic.bsky.social hey speaking of animated features I found this update on Sergio Pablo’s canceled ember. Ember is back in production. www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film...
'Klaus' Director Sergio Pablos Provides Optimistic 'Ember' Update
At Cartoon Springboard, Pablos showed off minutes-long animatic sequences, a thoroughly researched cast of primates, and a fully realized prehistoric world.

@tlrledbetter.bsky.social makes sense. I don’t know if they are going to pick it up for more seasons but i have a feeling that they might pick it up. It seems like Netflix is taking over former paramount plus nick shows now
November 13, 2025 at 10:27 AM
@tlrledbetter.bsky.social then what does this quote refer to “Paramount is actively exploring third-party licensing opportunities for both series, something the company has been doing consistently for a number of years, with a number of Nickelodeon titles available on Netflix, for example”

@tlrledbetter.bsky.social question. Since tales of the tmnt is going to Netflix could it possibly be renewed if it does well on Netflix and becomes a Netflix exclusive. Why is paramount not wanting to invest in streaming animation. Are they just going to license shows to Netflix

@ianwolf.bsky.social could you expand on this for context.

I don’t understand. I wish I would have sent it to the indie animation network.

@thesketchyartist.bsky.social is there any way we can support the project because I want this project to suceed. Maybe send it to indie animation discords.

@kilomonster.art I even heard that the studios are downsizing their development departments and are laying off executives who worked in development because they only want proven toy selling ip.
November 8, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Also i heard that major studios now want creators to invest their own time and money into their new show ideas and crowdfund their own shows and then once it gets popular then swoop in and buy the rights. They want to buy proven YouTube shows instead it seems
November 8, 2025 at 9:29 PM
@aimeekitty.bsky.social are they only going to buy existing YouTube shows and buy the rights to YouTube success. They only care about how many toys they sell with their own franchises. I’ve heard that major studios are downsizing development departments. Any insight
