"There are ways we can oppose authoritarianism, using techniques that haven’t been used at a scale for decades. These tools are our inheritance. They have been passed down for centuries, by abolitionist campaigners, labor organizers and anti-colonial leaders."

We are no longer free. But we can win our freedom back

Kamala doesn’t owe us. She was an exemplary Presidential candidate.

She offered us a bright future & ran an inspiring campaign.

Yet, many couldn’t be bothered to vote-even to save us from THIS.

W/ that said, I so hope we will be seeing more of her in the future.

We need her voice & leadership.

REMINDER: Wisconsin has same-day voter registration.

So, if you haven’t registered or recently moved or anything like that, you can register at your polling place (with ID and proof of residence) TODAY.

Every state should do this. It’s great that Wisconsin does this. Go vote.

Straight from the Schimel campaign. A vote for Brad Schimel is a vote for Trump and Musk to have a rubber stamp judge.

Very few Dutch cyclists wear helmets. Yet theirs are among the safest streets on earth. Why?

They understand it’s more beneficial to calm motor traffic, build dedicated infrastructure, and nurture a culture of everyday cycling. Not force the most vulnerable users to armour up.

I am so disgusted-sick-to-my-stomach, incandescently angry, and heartbroken by how Zelenskyy was treated. I saw someone sharing Elie Weisel's words: "There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest."

I will never forget the photo of Zelenskyy’s face after he saw Russia’s war crimes in Bucha in 2022. He seemed to age years in an afternoon. Watching him constantly cross the world asking for aid that should have been thrown at him is one of the deepest shames of our age.

"Imagine the impact these curious, creative minds could have on the world with the guidance and encouragement others take for granted." - Kimberly Bryant
An electrical engineer, Kimberly Bryant noticed few classmates or colleagues looked like her.

When she realized nothing had changed in 2010, she left her job & founded Black Girls Code that has now exposed 10s of 1000s of black, Latina & Native American girls to computer science, & programming.
