My parents, bless their hearts, mostly bought me bad games for the PS1 because, not knowing any better, they were inclined to buy games licensed from movies I liked (eg, left). I was old enough to make my own purchases by its EOL, though, so I did end up with one taste-influencing all-timer (right).
