Little bird went angry. Trying butterfly.
Proudly competing with AI in the emptiness of global social networks. This is not the least of my contradictions.

When I scroll through my US newsfeed, I want to scream, "What are you doing in America? How can you let this happen?"
And then I switch to my French newsfeed.
Then I go out to tidy up the garden.
While we could afford bullshit jobs for a certain period of time, at the expense of economic efficiency, the effect of bullshit education would be far more devastating at all levels.
Bullshit education!
“Education at its best sparks curiosity and critical thought. “Bullshit education” does the opposite: it trains people to tolerate meaninglessness, to accept automation of their own thinking, to value credentials over competence.”

AI is Destroying the University and Learning Itself
Students use AI to write papers, professors use AI to grade them, degrees become meaningless, and tech companies make fortunes. Welcome to the death of higher education.

The words "war game" are long banned and forgotten because use of power is now fully decomplexed. We are witnessing struggles for life in asymetric warfare through the remnants of free democratic communication systems that will soon be blurred into post truth garbage and mind control devices.
"Israel is using these [ceasefires] to establish new realities on the ground, entrenching its occupation of parts of Gaza and ... Lebanon while asserting its military dominance on the regional stage. This projection of control aims to impose Israel's vision for [hegemony over] a 'new Middle East.'"
"Israel is now escalating on all fronts."

"[L]aunching strikes and military incursions across Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the West Bank."

"All of this takes place as Israel is nominally party to two ceasefires."

"Paradoxical communication strategy: climate denialists appropriates scientific aesthetics to contest the scientific consensus, projecting rationality, authority, and masculine self-control. In contrast, climate advocates are depicted through emotionally charged, feminized, and irrational imagery."

This is certainly not a passing fad or a step towards something better, but rather the systematic destruction of the social fabric and our relationship with the world. The diversion and substitution of our relationship with otherness by technical artefacts is profoundly deadly.
I spoke yesterday to applicants to one of our core degree programs about the potential downstream harms of human-machine relationships that might include:

—withdrawal away from human-human relationships

💡Non, la tech n'existe pas dans le vide : elle est façonnée en permanence par des rapports de pouvoir, et ses ressources sont ancrées dans des valeurs, des modèles de développement et des projets de société.

Show this to anyone who says Trump's foreign policy is "isolationist"

The fact that this so-called technology can be developed, tested and patented with impunity is proof that it will primarily be used as the most abominable means of blackmail and extortion.
"Stardust solutions" is a huge Israeli-US company (with massive investment from techno-fascist silicon valley funds) that seems to be frantically racing to deploy geoengineering for profit

What is already happening is quite the opposite. Cut off people's livelihoods and exterminate them.

What goes up must come down.
The horror of the situation is that the necessary correction of the financial markets will have catastrophic repercussions on the physical goods markets.
Last month, subprime auto lender and dealer Tricolor went bust. The company, which provided loans to families with poor or no credit, is being seen as a potential canary in the coalmine.

Car loans might amount to a lot of dodgy American debt.
Car loans might be 2008 version 2.
