Contact us if you have been affected by the policy changes of Girl Guiding or the Women's Institute. This could be as an individual, or because you lead a local Brownie group who don't want this policy change. We want to help protect trans inclusion.

"The only way to stop bullies is to stand up to them. Anti-trans campaigners have been making legal threats, trying to force trans people out of public life. They thought after the SC decision the whole world would suddenly agree with them. But they've misunderstood the law, as well as human nature"

Saw person with 2" fingernails use chopsticks and type on phone tonight, as fast as anyone. Human brain consumes 20W total. Bet she didn't use 1kWh to learn either skill. Humanoid companies using big learning on big data to learn dexterity, eat your hearts out. You got it wrong. Humans are gooder.

A wonderful, resonant essay from @thesicktimes.org about how we can better listen to anyone going through something catastrophic. "Avoiding the topic feels absurd — like I’m standing in quicksand, and we’re chitchatting over glasses of lemonade as I slowly sink." thesicktimes.org/2025/11/28/y...

"But when the team looked at the employees’ actual work output, they found that the developers had completed tasks 20% slower when using AI than when working without it. Researchers were stunned. “No one expected that outcome. We didn’t even really consider a slowdown as a possibility.”

Spotify is running ICE recruitment ads. I ditched it awhile ago for other political reasons, but this might tip your hand.

Thanks for the heads up @chuckwendig.bsky.social.

THIS IS A GOVERNMENT OF THE BILLIONAIRES BY THE BILLIONAIRES FOR THE BILLIONARES.

Republicans OWN this shutdown.

I just want y'all to know that women of any political stripe probably find this less funny than progressive men do. The fact that we're having to whisper-network the right to vote our conscience tells you a whole, whole lot about life as a woman in America.
