Apparently "Thong Song" is having a tik tok moment because my 11-year old son keeps singing it in an opera voice and its hella inappropriate but also HELLA funny and we all need joy, so I'm here for it.

I don't take it for granted that I've never waited in line more than five minutes to cast my vote in my diverse, working-class, neighborhood. I also love how easy it is to vote by mail in California. But I still prefer voting in-person and seeing the other folks who live in my community at the polls
