Dude. Notely Voice app. Super simple notes app that uses a local model to do transcription. I like that. All local and offline.

Seal-killer pod catch?

I've been listening to too many true crime shows. I feel like there's a pun in there somewhere.

Too tired. Going to bed.

I'd never really noticed just how wasteful Pringles cans are. Metal, plastic and cardboard in one product just to keep some crisps safe.

Ah... Getting rid of the penguin logo makes more sense now, if they're pitching it more as a general purpose payments service rather than something associated specifically with trains.

This is a shame. It's one of the more tolerable mascots.
Maybe they can add some more eyes, like Myaku-Myaku.

Pretty good history of the first transatlantic telegraph cable. Fascinating, I'd watch this movie.

Quentin Wilson died. I always liked him on the old school Top Gear, when it was actually about cars. And Fifth Gear, of course.

All our cultural items like the internet, music, movies etc would disappear tomorrow due to an IT crisis. Yet we can still see the work of some dude who used his finger to create art on a cave wall 4,000 years ago. I don't think we've come as far as we think we have.

Why is it that the majority of Netflix films have an air of unreality about them? The titles *sound* like movies but are bland and generic, and the thumbnails have recognizable faces but with dead eyes. Like simulations of films...

Following Prince Andrew’s titles being removed, Prince Edward becomes the Duke Of York. Basically, it all shifts up one. For instance, I’m now my next door neighbour, Pauline Cathcart.

@notesnook.com Hi team. I noticed that biometric protection was removed from the free plan. I understand why, but was there any warning of this? I feel like there should have been a notification that protection was going to be removed.

It's a bit outrageous that notesnook removed the password protection from their app to put it behind the paywall without notice. I didn't see any notification that 'your protected notes will no longer be protected'.
