"ROI-positive" sounds like weasel words for "generates any income at all" to me; if they meant "better than breaking even" I feel like they would have at least said "net positive" or something like that.

AFAICT, corporate policy is "fuck them baristas" because they put out a statement throwing the baristas under the bus when the right wingers got mad about baristas putting e.g. just "Charlie" on cups to avoid being political (which was the nominal policy).

Also you'd need a consistently available, cheap source of "pure enough" water, and I don't know how realistic that is.

other drawbacks. The tech that's IMO closer to viability than anything else is probably water injection, but you ideally need pretty pure water and in cold weather that's a problem. I also don't know how that behaves with emissions equipment (e.g. catalytic converters have to run hot to work well).

Turbines need a certain amount of energy differential to operate, typically enough for a phase change (e.g. steam) but car engines don't like to run hot enough for that to work. There are other types of heat engines that would be better suited to take advantage of the excess heat, but there are

see if it's working or not right away and dead dev won't lose you a whole roll (or multiple). B&W is a lot simpler than color as far as I can tell, so I haven't tried color processing. Contrast filters can apparently go bad over time and also can be damaged by water.

High speed electronics test gear (oscilloscopes, etc.) use BNC connectors as well.

"AI assisted" doesn't mean anything, and I'm not aware of any tech that allows for fully-automated garment assembly.
