1/ “If I don’t steal your house someone else will - so what’s the difference?” We all hear about Israeli settlers stealing Palestinian homes, but seeing it in action is something else. Arrogance and coldness off the scale. This was before the genocide.

Really enjoyed Warne's celebratory lap tonight, just on his own; just for the fans. Fans can criticise his selection, tactics etc but no one can question his commitment. He loves the Club and the players play for him. Can't knock that. Great night at PP.

A drama teacher I met recently said she would love for the country to spend 24 hours without creative arts.

I made a career in audio drama but I originally trained as a Drama Teacher. I’ve seen first hand how it empowers and gives confidence to kids who otherwise identify as marginalised and inadequate. It enriches their language and explores challenges which other, “academic” subjects cannot encompass.

This. Exactly this. Forget IHT, look at the cost of adult care!
I often wonder if it's intentional or just a lack of awareness. There is definitely a lot people scared of IHT who will not pay a penny but might have to sell their house to pay for dementia care. Why would someone be more bothered about IHT than that scenario?
