Yeah but do we want to operate all of Australia's gas power stations for another 60 years?

Great that AU is part of this alliance.
The UK doesn't recognise Maduro in Venezuela "because of the way in which the election was conducted", says foreign minister Baroness Chapman.

Her ally Sisi of Egypt "won" "elections" with 90% of the vote in 2023 and came to power after the massacre of 1,000 people in 2013.

Imagine the massacres you have to ignore to state that this is the first time the DOD is run by a rabid war criminal
How low we have sunk as a country. The US Department of Defense is now run by a rabid war criminal.

Ordering the execution of helpless survivors of an attack is ALWAYS a war crime, whether they civilian or military.

Pure, mindless, barbarism.

Melbourne is LESS dense than Los Angeles.

If Melbourne were as dense as LA within the first 15km, we’d have an extra 431,000 homes!

@misguidedjenni.bsky.social where Laverton Creek runs under the train, and the path is a metal grid over the creek, today the water was lapping the metal from below. 2nd highest I've seen it, and the path lower down was covered in running water.

So what's new?
The liars in the White House aren't "mistaken." They know they're lying. They think lying is a big part of their job. Never cut them a break by thinking they're confused or deluded. They're lying to steal the freedom of everyone you love.

A horrendous report on ABC radio from a Brisbane doctor doing a second tour in Gaza with Medecins sans Frontières. She says the ceasefire is in name only, the genocide continues and the deprivation of basic food, shelter and resources means even the injured haven’t what the need to heal.

If we redesign Melbourne as below, going to need a lot of bulldozers. Draw a circle from approx Sandringham to Camberwell to Coburg to Sunshine. Bulldoze most of the single family houses inside and outside the ring, build 4-6 story apartment buildings inside the ring.
Here’s something that’s really important for everyone to understand.

If we design our cities just for cars, they fail everyone, including drivers.

If we design our cities with many great CHOICES in how to get around, they work better for everyone, including drivers.

Spread the word.

UNRWA has enough food outside #Gaza to supply people there for 3 months, amid desperate need. Our teams stand ready to deliver it.

But despite the #ceasefire, the Israeli Authorities’ block on UNRWA bringing any supplies into Gaza still continues.

Let us get aid into Gaza at the full scale needed.
