After leaving me hanging from the side of the bridge for half an hour while he played Temple Run on my cellular device, Samuel let me back up. And I thought the outcome of our previous tussle was an embarrassment.

Samuel took Penelope and rolled her into the ravine. He said it was "Rock and Roll". This is unacceptable. I will put a new plan in motion, to ensure this never happens again.

The trap worked, but when I took Samuel to the mine, I found someone already inside. He took advantage of this moment to escape his restraints and, as he said in his letter, "beat me up". I fear my pride may never recover from this day.
